Olathe is a city situated in Kansas, U.S. It is located in northeastern Kansas. In history their main source of income was catering to travelers. It has a humid climate with hot summers so the best time to visit here is winters.

PLACES TO GO:

Buddy Rogers Playhouse: It offers live theater. Some special events are affordable.  Tickets for all shows are 15 dollars for adults. 

Penguin Playground: It is a family Christmas display. This is one of the largest Christmas Displays in metropolitan Kansas City.  Get out of your car and walk through. I think the Penguin Playground will blow everyone away.

Bass Pro Shop: In addition to sports equipment, hunting & fishing gear, the shop has almost everything to offer. Seafood is available inside the store. Most people come to this shop often.

Cedar Creek Falls: It is formed by an overflow dam on Cedar Creek in southwest Olathe. It is most impressive in the spring season.

Marra Museum of Deaf History and Deaf Culture: The museum is devoted to Deaf culture and history of Kansas school of Deaf. Nice museum to know about the culture and past.

Tea Garden: It has a high quality lunch buffet. The food is always fresh and good. You will really like their appetizers. The staff at Tea Garden provide friendly service. 

Haru's Steak Sushi Place: This is the oldest Japanese Restaurant in Olathe. This contemporary sushi bar and steakhouse serves a special lunch which includes soup or salad and the choice of two sushi rolls. 

Chapala: Chapala is a Mexican restaurant. With inexpensive menus, this restaurant is liked by many tourists. They have "Especial Chapala" which includes several meats is the best fajitas you would prefer.

Sam's Tastee Treat: The food is fair enough, moreover atmosphere and tradition are tremendous. One thing is that they accept cash only.

Go Chicken Go: The restaurant is known for its fried chicken gizzards and hot G-Sauce. Chicken lovers must eat here once.
